I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember—I'm sure my stuffed animals had secret lives when I wasn’t looking! I always imagined working with animals, but life and the loss of a dear friend led me to become a death doula and national doula trainer. I realized that the same presence, listening, and compassion needed for end-of-life care are exactly what it takes to communicate with animals.

I rescue everything from bees and spiders to dogs, cats, and ducks, you name it! And I won't watch the movie if the animal dies - just can't do it! I can't help but connect to creatures in the wild, too. Ask me about moving a fire ant hill with my mind - and yes, I have a witness. That experience made me realize that anyone can do this.

After formal training, I now can say without a doubt - animals do speak to us, but do we have the ears ( and the heart!) to listen? If you’ve ever wondered what your pet thinks or feels, I would be honored to be the bridge for that conversation.
